Battle Fitness

Effective date: July 21, 2026 Last updated: July 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LDN Solutions LLC ("LDN Solutions," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Battle Fitness mobile application and related services (the "App"). Please read it carefully. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

We are not able to give you legal advice. This document describes our own practices. If you have questions about your rights, please contact us using the details in the "Contact Us" section.

1. Who we are

The App is provided by LDN Solutions LLC, the data controller responsible for your personal information.

If you are in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom, or another region with data-protection laws, this policy explains your rights and how to exercise them.

2. A note about health data and who the App is for

Battle Fitness is a fitness-tracking and friendly-competition app. To provide it, we ask you for and process health- and fitness-related information — for example your biological sex, pregnancy or nursing status, height, weight, and the meals, workouts, sleep, water, and steps you log. We treat this information with care and only use it to run the App for you, as described below.

The App is intended for people aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. See "Children's Privacy" below.

3. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information.

3.1 Information you provide when you create an account

  • Email address (for email sign-ups, and provided by Apple or Google when you use social sign-in).

  • Password (for email sign-ups; stored only in hashed/encrypted form by our authentication provider — we never see your plaintext password).

  • Display name and username.

  • Profile picture, if you choose to add one.

  • Authentication provider (email, Sign in with Apple, or Google), and the account identifier those providers return to us.

If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple lets you hide your real email address; we receive whatever email Apple relays to us. If you use Google, we receive your email and basic profile information from Google to create your account.

3.2 Information you provide during onboarding and setup (includes sensitive data)

To build your personalized plan, we ask for:

  • Name and date of birth (used to confirm you meet the minimum age and to personalize your plan).

  • Biological sex and, where applicable, pregnancy or nursing status.

  • Height, current weight, starting weight, and goal weight.

  • Activity level, fitness goals, and preferences (e.g. what "winning" means to you, workout preferences, and self-reported energy, sleep, and hydration habits).

Some of this is health-related and, in some regions, "special category" or "sensitive" data. We collect it only to operate the App's core features for you.

Your date of birth, biological sex, and pregnancy or nursing status are used only on your device — to confirm you meet the minimum age and to calculate your personalized calorie and nutrition targets — and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. The resulting targets, along with your height and weight, are saved to your account so your plan syncs across your devices.

3.3 Information you log while using the App

As you use Battle Fitness, you create records such as:

  • Meals you log, including food names and estimated calories and macronutrients (protein, carbs, fat).

  • Water, sleep, workouts, body weight, steps, and custom goals.

  • Daily scores and streaks derived from your logged activity.

3.4 Health app integrations (Apple Health / Android Health Connect)

If you choose to connect Apple Health (HealthKit) or Android Health Connect, the App reads — with your permission and read-only — your daily step count and active energy (calories) burned, to help fill your step and calorie goals. We do not write any data back to Apple Health or Health Connect. Only the resulting daily numbers are stored in your account; we do not receive your underlying health-store records. You can disconnect this at any time in your device's Health settings.

3.5 Meal photos (AI nutrition analysis)

If you use the AI food-photo feature, the photo you take is sent to our AI processor (OpenAI) to estimate the food and its nutrition. We do not store your meal photos — the image is used only to generate the estimate and is not saved to our database or file storage. Only the resulting text description and estimated calories/macros are saved as a meal entry in your log.

3.6 Subscription and purchase information

Battle Fitness offers an auto-renewing subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google through their in-app purchase systems, and managed with RevenueCat and Superwall. We receive your subscription status and related receipt/transaction information from these providers so we can unlock premium features. We never receive your full credit-card or payment-card number — that is handled entirely by Apple or Google.

3.7 Social and battle information

If you add friends or take part in battles, we process:

  • Friend connections you create. You can search for a friend by their username or email; we use that to find the account, but we never reveal a user's email address to other users.

  • Battle participation, including the display name, username, and profile picture of people you compete with, and the point totals and per-category score breakdowns exchanged during a battle.

3.8 Device, technical, and notification data

  • Push notification token, device platform (iOS/Android), and device name, so we can send you notifications (e.g. battle invites and friend requests).

  • Standard technical data needed to operate the App and keep it secure.

3.9 Analytics data

We use Mixpanel to understand how people use the App so we can improve it. This includes in-app events (such as screens viewed and choices made during onboarding), and, once you have an account, your email address and display name so we can recognize your usage across devices, plus non-identifying preference segments.

3.10 What we do NOT collect

  • We do not use advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA).

  • We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.

  • We do not show third-party ads in the App.

  • We do not sell your personal information.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the App — create and secure your account; generate your personalized goals and plan; record and display your logs, scores, streaks, and progress.

  • Look up foods you search for or scan (via FatSecret).

  • Estimate nutrition from meal photos (via OpenAI).

  • Fill your step and calorie goals from Apple Health / Health Connect, if connected.

  • Run battles and friends features, including notifications.

  • Provide and manage subscriptions and premium features.

  • Send notifications you have enabled.

  • Understand and improve the App through analytics.

  • Keep the App safe — prevent fraud, abuse, and cheating, and enforce our Terms.

  • Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

5. How we handle your health data

We treat your health- and fitness-related data (including any data from Apple Health or Health Connect, and information such as sex, pregnancy/nursing status, weight, and logged activity) with particular care:

  • We use it only to provide the App's features to you.

  • Your biological sex, pregnancy/nursing status, and date of birth are processed only on your device to calculate your targets — they are never sent to our servers.

  • We do not use health data for advertising, and do not share it with data brokers.

  • We do not sell it.

  • We do not share your raw health logs with other users. In battles, other participants only ever see aggregate point totals and category breakdowns — never your individual meals, weights, or other underlying entries.

  • Data obtained from Apple Health / Health Connect is used consistent with Apple's and Google's health-data policies.

6. How your information is shared

We share information only as described here. We use trusted service providers ("processors") that handle data on our behalf under contract:

  • SupabaseReceives: Account, profile, and all logged data at rest; profile pictures. Purpose: Hosting, authentication, database, and file storage (our backend)

  • OpenAIReceives: Meal photos and any text context you add. Purpose: AI nutrition estimation (photos not retained by us)

  • FatSecretReceives: Food search terms and barcode numbers (no account identity attached). Purpose: Food and nutrition database lookups

  • MixpanelReceives: App events; your email and display name; non-identifying preference segments. Purpose: Product analytics and improvement

  • Expo, Apple (APNs), Google (FCM)Receives: Push token and notification content (which may include another user's display name). Purpose: Delivering push notifications

  • Apple, GoogleReceives: Sign-in identity information. Purpose: Account creation and login

  • RevenueCat, Superwall, Apple, GoogleReceives: Subscription status and receipt/transaction data. Purpose: Processing and managing subscriptions

We may also share information:

  • With other users, but only as described in Section 7 (limited profile and battle data).

  • For legal reasons — to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or LDN Solutions.

  • In a business transfer — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. What other users can see

  • Your profile — your display name, username, and profile picture are visible to other signed-in users (for example, so friends and battle opponents can recognize you). Profile pictures are stored at a public image URL so they can be displayed in the App.

  • In battles — the people you compete with can see your display name, username, profile picture, your total battle score, and a per-category breakdown (for example how many points you earned toward water, sleep, calories, and so on) over the battle period.

  • Friend requests identify you (the requester) to the person you invite.

  • What others cannot see — your individual logs (specific meals, weights, sleep, etc.), your email address, your date of birth, and your notification tokens are never shared with other users.

8. International data transfers

We are based in the United States, and our providers may process your information in the United States and in other countries. These countries may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required (for example for transfers from the EEA or UK), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account (Section 10), we delete your personal data from our systems as described. Some information may remain for a limited time in encrypted backups or where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements, after which it is deleted.

10. Your rights and choices

10.1 Delete your account and data

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, logs, goals, weight history, streaks, scores, friendships, battles, profile picture, and notification tokens from our systems. You can also email us to request deletion.

10.2 Access, correct, and control your data

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy (portability).

  • Correct inaccurate information.

  • Delete your information.

  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

  • Withdraw consent where we rely on it (for example for health data or analytics), without affecting prior processing.

To exercise these rights, use the in-app tools above or contact us at the email in Section 1. We will respond as required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Legal bases (EEA/UK). Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process your information to perform our contract with you (to provide the App), based on your consent (for example for health-app integration, sensitive data, and analytics), for our legitimate interests (to improve and secure the App), and to comply with legal obligations. For sensitive/special category data, we rely on your explicit consent.

U.S. state privacy rights (including California). We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you are a California resident (or in another U.S. state with similar laws), you have rights to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them. You can exercise these rights using the methods above.

10.3 Device permissions and notifications

You can control the App's access to your camera, photo library, health data, and notifications in your device settings at any time. Turning these off may disable related features (for example, barcode scanning, AI meal photos, step-goal auto-fill, or push notifications).

11. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and access controls that restrict each user's data to that user (row-level security in our database). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and regulators of incidents where required by law.

12. Children's privacy

The App is intended for users 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. Where required, users under the age of 18 should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
